Briquetting - Metal recycling

Therma FM, Ltd. has managed a metal scrap recycling plant since 2005. Our recycling lines include:
-Sorting of scrap metal (visual inspection, RTG analyzer)
-Crushers for long turnings
-Briquetting machines

Currently, our lines can serve multiple clients simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

The advantages of metal scrap briquetting are clear Specifically:

Firstly, briquetting has a positive economic impact by improving the handling of briquettes. In addition, it simplifies the processes of loading and unloading. Furthermore, it reduces transport costs. Moreover, it enhances handling in batches for the furnace.Additionally, it lowers the amount of alloying elements in the batch. Finally, it decreases slag formation, among other benefits.

PRODUCTION OF BRIQUETTES:

We produce briquettes using hydraulic pressure (300 bar), and as a result, we do not use any binder in the process.

Materials for Crushing and Briquetting Include:

-Mix of steel shavings
-Single-steel chips (one sort of material)
-Cast iron chips
-Alloy and stainless steel materials
-Non-ferrous metals like Al and Cu
-Bronze and brass shavings
-Tungsten
-Tyre wires

Regarding Crushing and Briquetting:

We process both our own metal scrap and briquettes. If the material is a long chip, crushing is included. The material and size of metal scrap for crushing and briquetting are subject to agreement.

Metal Chips Purchase:

-We buy scrap metal from machining, including steel, cast iron, and aluminum chips, as well as small metal waste.
-CrMo steel (42CrMo4 and other quality CrMo steel)
-Carbon steel chips (one sort of material)
-Cast iron chips and small residues (gray and ductile cast iron)

SALE:

We sell briquettes made from the above materials. Briquettes are cylindrical in shape and their sizes are:

-Diameter 105 mm, length 100 mm, with a material weight of about 4 kg.
-Diameter 120 mm, length 120 mm, with a material weight of approximately 6.5 kg.

Transport of Briquettes:

We can manage transport or alternatively, the supplier/purchaser can arrange it.

Certificates:

We issue a certificate of conformity for the delivered briquettes, including a confirmation that the briquettes are not radioactive. Additionally, the production of briquettes is ISO 9001:2008 certified.
