Unicore cores are a modern addition to the family of magnetic cores, with over 10 different types available. Developed in 1997, this unique technology aims to simplify manufacturing and moreover improve transformer parameters. Thanks to their design, these special cores can replace nearly all traditional stacked cores.
As a result, the simplified construction eliminates the need for time-consuming and costly production processes. Consequently, we achieve favorable prices and shorter delivery times. Additionally, we can use existing coil forms during assembly, which means no modifications to transformer construction are necessary.
DUO and DG: These cores come with a split gap.UNCUT: These cores lack a dividing gap.BUTT: These cores are produced as C cores.
-Cores feature corners at 30°, 45°, or 90°.Moreover new types of Unicore cores are pernamently developed, you can explore in our catalogue.-Materials include any quality of grain-oriented steel, ranging from 0.10 mm to 35 mm in thickness. We can also use non-grain-oriented steel. Unicore cores can weigh up to 1500 kg and have a maximum height of 300 mm.
Unicore cores offer several benefits. Firstly, they reduce the weight of magnetic circuits. Secondly, they minimize the amount of copper needed. Additionally, they feature low specific losses and are easy to assemble. In addition, they are cost-effective and do not require core banding. Finally, they come with a short delivery time.
We offer both annealed and unannealed cores. In particular, annealing can reduce losses by 10% to 30%, depending on the core size.
To ensure quality, we perform systematic inspections throughout the Unicore production process. This approach guarantees that each core meets our high standards.
